Cursor and VS Code require a desktop computer. Claude and ChatGPT will guide you to their web settings.
Claude

  1. Click Add to Claude below.
  2. The MCP URL is copied to your clipboard and Claude's Connectors settings open in a new tab.
  3. On Claude's page, click the + or Add custom connector button and paste the URL into the Server URL field.
ChatGPT

  1. Click Add to ChatGPT below.
  2. The MCP URL is copied to your clipboard and ChatGPT Settings → Connectors opens in a new tab.
  3. Click Create (or Add custom connector) and paste the URL. Requires a Plus, Pro, Team, or Enterprise plan.
Cursor
One-click · Desktop only
  1. Click Open in Cursor below.
  2. Your browser asks to launch Cursor — click Open Cursor.
  3. In Cursor's install prompt, click Install to add the shopmcp connector.

VS Code

  1. Click Open in VS Code below.
  2. Your browser asks to launch VS Code — click Open Visual Studio Code.
  3. In VS Code's install prompt, click Install. Requires GitHub Copilot to be enabled.
